Running has become a lifestyle for local resident Brian Graw.

He has run in marathons in Saskatoon and Regina, others across the country and perhaps the most notable marathon of them all - the Boston Marathon.

Monday, Graw will run in his second Boston Marathon, but this one will perhaps be even more special.

Graw will be joined by his sister, Anna Graw-Bielecki, who grew up in the Battlefords, but now resides in Newmarket, Ont.

Graw, now 50, and his younger sister are set to embark on a memorable experience together.

Graw last participated in the Boston Marathon in 2010. He finished the marathon in 3:29:08 and was 939th in his division of 2,389. That year Graw was one of 22,672 participants in the Boston Marathon.

Last year's marathon had 21,616 participants.

North Battleford's Lindsay Harrison, 28, is also registered to the Boston Marathon this year as is Robert St. Amant of Meota, who is 51. Both, like Graw-Bielecki, will be participating for the first time.
