The Battlefords North Stars completed a player transaction acquiring the CJHL rights to defenseman Connor Sutton from the Dauphin Kings, in exchange for the CJHL rights to 20-year-old forward Tim Rollins.
The transaction was part of a three team trade which included player movement between the North Stars, Dauphin Kings of the MJHL, and Calgary Mustangs of the AJHL.
Sutton, a 1994 born player, played one season in the Saskatchewan Major Midget Hockey League with the Notre Dame Argos before moving on to the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In the AJHL he split time between the Spruce Grove Saints and the Calgary Mustangs. He was a third round pick in the WHL bantam draft by the Prince Albert Raiders.
Tim Rollins played two seasons with the North Stars compiling 59 points during the regular season and play-offs.
In a press release the North Stars expressed appreciation to Rollins and his family for their dedication to the organization and wished him the best with the Dauphin Kings during the upcoming season.
