In other Saskatchewan Hockey Association development programs, the Spring Female Festival will take place in Aberdeen April 21 and 22.
The goal of the Female Festival program is to develop young female hockey players and provide a quality environment to become better hockey players. The environment is similar to that of zone camps, which the players will have a chance to attend when they enter first year bantam. The Female Festival is open to players born in 1999 to 2002.
This weekend challenges the players to new on-ice skills, but most of all this is a fun weekend for players to experience no pressure and just to play the game they love.
The bantam SaskFirst tournament will also be held April 20 to 22 in Regina.
