Battlefords AAA Sharks will host Prince Albert in their first home pre-season game of the season. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.
SEPTEMBER 12
Rustic Nine Golf Course will host an 18-hole open golf tournament for golfers 19 and older. Nine holes will be played as a scramble and nine will be scratch golf. The cost is $20, which includes supper and prizes. Only 32 registered golfers will be accepted. To register call 445-0107 by Sept. 11.

Mervin and District Golf Club will host its Men's and Ladies' Fall Classic. It will be an 18-hole open golf tournament. Contact 845-3121 for more information.

North Battleford Men's Touch Football League has three games on the schedule. The Headhunters play the Huskies at Beaver Lions Stadium, the Western Can Slammers play the Razorbacks at Holy Family and the Gophers battle the Rhinos at Kinsmen Field. All games are at 6 p.m.

Battlefords North Stars will host their annual kick-off season opener breakfast. Tickets are $8 per person or $55 for a table. Here is your chance to meet the players and coaching staff days before the season officially begins. Call 445-STAR for information.

Battlefords Midget AAA Stars will host the Saskatoon Blazers in their first home pre-season game of the season. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.

Battlefords North Stars will host the Kindersley Klippers in their regular season home opener. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.
SEPTEMBER 19
Saskatchewan Hockey Association will host a referee clinic at Battleford Central School. Anyone interesting in officiating hockey this season is invited and should have completed the on-line learning modules before the clinic. The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
