Two girls from the Battlefords Sharks midget AAA team have been given quite the honour.
Mallory Roy and Jetta Derenoski have been named to the list of the top 42 female under 18 hockey players in the province.
In August, the pair will travel to Wilcox where they'll be competing for a spot on the Team Sask roster. If they make it they will travel with the team to Calgary in November where they would compete.
"It was quite an honour for them to be selected onto the top 42," said Laurel Derenoski, Jetta's mom who also helps out with the Sharks.
