SaskTel Max subscribers will soon be able to watch Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games on TV.
The league plans to show an SJHL Game of the Month on MaxTV for the remainder of the regular season, as well as SJHL showcase events and the Canalta Cup finals.
The live broadcasts will begin with the SJHL/MJHL Showcase from Regina Jan. 14 and 15. In addition to being broadcast live and on demand on MaxTV and the MaxTV stream, those games will also be shown on the SaskTel Facebook page.
SJHL President Bill Chow said in a statement that this was a great opportunity to expose the athletes of the SJHL to scouts and to hockey fans across this province.
