Here is some news about recent trade activity in the SJHL during the month of July. While there is not much to report from the Battlefords North Stars, several other teams were very active on the trade front.
The Humboldt Broncos announced that on July 5 they traded centre Laramie Kostelansky to the Yarmouth Mariners for a player development fee.
The Notre Dame Hounds have traded Conor MacLean, right wing, to the Woodstock Slammers in return for forward Jeffrey Gordon (born 1997), and a player development fee.
Melville Millionaires have traded Dryden Wust, right wing, to the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL for a player development fee.
La Ronge Ice Wolves have obtained Daniel McKitrick, right wing, from the Cobourg Cougars in exchange for a player development fee.
The Nipawin Hawks acquired Tristan Petrie, left defence, from Lloydminster Bobcats in exchange for a player development fee.
La Ronge has traded Trevor Bush, left defence, and Shae Kirik, centre, to the Campbellton Tigers for David Pryde, forward, and a player development fee.
Also, La Ronge has traded a player development fee and centre/right wing Kent Hanson to the Espanola Express for centre Jason Bednarski.
