January 6-8Battlefords Minor Hockey Association will host a bantam A tournament. Action begins Friday and concludes Sunday.

January 7Battlefords North Stars host the Weyburn Red Wings for the final time this season. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.

January 7Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League has three games on the schedule. Maymont plays in Battleford, Glaslyn hosts Perdue and Radisson plays in Hafford. All games are at 8 p.m.

January 7North Saskatchewan River Hockey League has all eight teams in action, as St. Walburg is in Turtleford, Meadow Lake hosts Wilkie and Paradise Hill plays in Spiritwood at 8:30 p.m. At 9 p.m., Maidstone hosts Edam.

January 12Battlefords AAA Sharks host Prince Albert in SFMAAAHL action. Game time is 6:30 p.m. at the Battleford Arena.

January 13Battlefords North Stars host the Nipawin Hawks in SJHL action. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.

January 13-14North Battleford Comprehensive High School hosts its annual senior girls' basketball tournament. Action begins Friday afternoon.

January 14Battlefords Midget Stars host the Saskatoon Blazers in SMAAAHL action. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.

January 17Battlefords North Stars host the La Ronge Ice Wolves for the final time during the regular season. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.
