The Twin Rivers Curling Club has got creative with some of their recent activities at the Northland Power Curling Centre.

A Sticks and Stones Bonspiel was held Feb. 2 and 3.

The games were six ends and each player used the throwing stick for all shots instead of sliding out of the hack.

The Ralph Hall rink, including Heather Hall, Doug Hall and Wayne Scheible, won in the final over the Lyle Russell rink. Russell's team included Sharon Russell and Sven and Cora Christiansen.

The event was so popular that the local club intends on making this and annual fun event to give curlers a different perspective on the game.
