Cole Tenetiuk of the Battlefords has had plenty of curling success in his young career while curling out of the Battlefords.
After graduating from North Battleford Comprehensive High School the multi-sport athlete has continued to play in one of those sports he excelled at.
Tenetiuk skipped a Saskatoon team, which competed in Weyburn over the weekend in the Saskatchewan Curling Association's Junior Men's Provincial Championship.
Tenetuik's led his team to a 4-1 record through the round robin play Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Tenetuik's lone loss came in the team's third game when they faced Brady Scharback. And fell 5-3.
In the playoffs Tentuik beat Jeremy Venderbuhs 6-3 and Daniel Selke 5-3 to advance to the final and earn another game against Scharback.
It wasn't meant to be, as the defending junior champion beat Tenetuik's team 9-2 Monday morning in the final.
Scharback advances to the national championship, which will be play in Alberta while Tenetuik and his teammates Anthony Neufeld, Nicklas Neufeld and Jessie Krauss earned a provincial silver medal.
