They're on the mark

The 3D Outdoor Provincial Championship was hosted by the Battle River Archers on the weekend and after two days of taking aim, the winners were crowned. Rachel Diehl won the pre-cub female division with a 647 score.

The 3D Outdoor Provincial Championship was hosted by the Battle River Archers on the weekend and after two days of taking aim, the winners were crowned.

Rachel Diehl won the pre-cub female division with a 647 score. Allysa Ask and Bronlyn Gubbe also competed in the division.

In the cub female event it was Lindsay Cannon taking top honours with a total score of 698. Behind her were Lalia Cann and Tawnie Kotyk.

Caybre Stynsky and Ashley Hepp went head-to-head in the female peewee division with Caybre scoring 581 for first place.

Meagan Adam won the cadet female category by 20 points over Shayln Fedler.

Erin Partridge won the female hunter division with a mark of 526.

Raquel Hepp captured the female bow hunter division with a 668 score.

Shelley Smith won the female masters 50 division with a mark of 717. In second was Wendy Riglin. Maine Ross was third.

In the male pre-cub division, Lance Alm finished with a mark of 738 and in first place. Spencer Hepp was second in the division with Korbin Prescesky also making the podium.

The cub male division winner was Tristan Moran with an impressive 837. Jacob Stynsky and Carter Buglas were second and third in the division.

Sawyer Day was the lone archer in the peewee male division and he scored 538.

Local archer Tyson Mackrell finished second in the cadet male category, as he finished with a 784 score, five points back of Dalton Clouthier. Keenan Buglas was third in the division.

In a competitive division featuring 13 archers, the bow hunter male division winner was Nolan Johnson with a 799. Harvey Giesbrecht and Ray Nemethi finished second and third.

Wilkie's Brian Hawkins was first in the bow hunter restricted division with a score of 782. Stacey Moran and Stan Grzech rounded out the top three.

In the men's hunter division, Dennis Fetter and Rod Gabielson finished with scores of 700. Nick Landrie was five points back and in third place.

The RU male winner was Travis Skinner with a 674. James Tracey and Chris Wakelin rounded out the top three.

Local Ross MacAngus scored 766 and took first place in the male masters 50 division. David Skaar and Kirk Riglin finished second and third with scores of 743.

In the male masters 60 division, Demetry Proyk earned first place. Keith Partridge was second with David Mcgill third.

In the traditional male masters 60 division, local archer Elmer Woytiuk scored 211 after two rounds to take the top spot.

There were also 29 provincial guest shooters during the weekend.
