The North Battleford Comprehensive High School senior girls' basketball team is again wearing gold.
For the third week in a row the Vikings vanquished their competition, this time going undefeated in the Melfort Comprehensive invitational tournament on the weekend.
The 12-1 team beat P.A.Carlton 47-16, Warman 46-25, and then Meadow in the final 49-36.
Coach Bryan Cotinni says the girls are looking to recharge the batteries over the Christmas break for a push to HOOPLA in March.
The previous weekend the girls won golad at P.A. Carlton's tournament and before that topped the BOWLT classic in Saskatoon.
They defeated Meadow Lake 49 to 36 in the championship game.
