Throw together team wins softball tourney

Players from Mayfair, Medstead, Spiritwood, Speers, Maymont and Regina joined together to play in the 32nd annual Twilight Men's Softball Tournament in Regina Aug. 7 and 8.

Players from Mayfair, Medstead, Spiritwood, Speers, Maymont and Regina joined together to play in the 32nd annual Twilight Men's Softball Tournament in Regina Aug. 7 and 8.

The Team under the Whitkow name took first place in the tournament for softball players aged 40 and up.

Team Members included: Trent Foster of Mayfair, Don Janzen of Medstead, Barry Person of Spiritwood, Anthony Bomok of Speers, Albert Wollbaum of Regina, Cal Smith of Regina, Dan Lange of Mayfair, Rene Turgeon of Spiritwood, Neil Clayton of Maymont, Grant Person of Spiritwood and Coach Roman Ewanchuk of Mayfair.
