The North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings fell to the Tommy Douglas Tigers Friday, one week after winning their first game of the season.

The Vikings did not look weak, with many good passes, runs, kick returns and punts and one interception. But they couldn't stop the undefeated Tigers, and, just as importantly, could not capitalize on their big plays when they got them.

The Tigers prevailed by a score of 35-0. They scored five touchdowns, four conversions and one safety.

By the end of the game, the Vikings had a total of 87 passing yards and 90 rushing yards.

Tanner Craig distinguished himself with 16 carries for a total of 63 yards, and Trevor Payne picked up 45 yards from two receptions.

The Vikings turn their attention to their final game of the regular season when they put their 1-5 record on the line against the Evan Hardy Souls Friday in Saskatoon. Evan Hardy entered the game with a record of 2-3-1.
