Touch Football League playoffs underway

Sunday all eight teams in the North Battleford Touch Football League took to the field playing quarter final match ups with some surprises. The seventh place Home Hardware Broncos surprised the second place Gophers with a 36-35 win.

Sunday all eight teams in the North Battleford Touch Football League took to the field playing quarter final match ups with some surprises.

The seventh place Home Hardware Broncos surprised the second place Gophers with a 36-35 win.

The Razorbacks had one less win than the Headhunters during the regular season, but they won when it mattered most. The Razorbacks pulled out a 27-20 win.

The first place Rhinos continued their dominance with a 50-0 win over the last place Western Can Slammers.

The third place Huskies downed the Silver Bullets 29-6.

The A-side semi finals had the Rhinos taking on the Broncos and the Huskies playing the Razorbacks Thursday.

On the consolation side, the Headhunters eliminated the Western Can Slammers with an 18-0 win Tuesday.

The other consolation semi final goes Tuesday with the finals set for Thursday.
