Teams of the North Battleford Touch Football League were back in action as the regular season began Tuesday.

The defending champion Huskies began their title defence with a 42-7 win over the Headhunters, who were fourth in the regular season last year.

The Rhinos, who finished first after the 2010 regular season before being knocked out in the playoffs, won their first game of 2011 with a convincing 36-0 win over the Razorbacks.

The Gophers shut out the Silver Bullets with a 33-0 score and the Broncos also shut out the Western Can Slammers 28-0.

The eight teams were back in action Thursday with games taking place at the Kinsmen Field, the North Battleford track, Holy Family and Centennial Field.
