After running the cement plant in Hudson Bay for years, Czemeres began coaching minor baseball with Ernie Johnson. The duo led their team to a league championship and years later, Czemeres created the North East Baseball League.

The league began with four teams and later expanded to six for a few seasons before dropping back to four teams.

In 1981, Czemers founded the Hudson Bay Jaks Twilite team and he was s driving force behind Hudson Bay hosting the 1987 Maxi Twilite Tournament 1988 Masters Tournament.

He was the team leader for 28 years and has been a strong supporter of twilite baseball for years. His team philosophies and attitude of complete enjoyment and comradeship helped earn him the respect and admiration of the Saskatchewan Baseball Association Twilite Division members.

In addition to Czeremes's tremendous devotion to the twilite movement, he contributed his time and financial assistance to the community in baseball and other recreational areas.

In 1994, Czeremes was the recipient of the Twiliter of the Year award and he is a member of the Twilite Standing Committee.

Although he is now retired, he continues to promote Twilite baseball.

Czeremes and 12 other individuals, a team and a family will be inducted in less than two weeks. Tickets for the ceremony are available by phoning 446-1983, or e-mailing saskbaseballmuseum@sasktel.net.
