Two local volleyball players have had the opportunity to represent their school and the Battlefords and a month ago Joe Peters and Sam Stilborn represented the province on the volleyball court.
The two volleyball players from the North Battleford Comprehensive High School and the Battlefords club volleyball team made Team Saskatchewan, which played in Calgary in the Western Elite U17 Men's Volleyball Tournament.
July 22 to 25, Peters and Stilborn where part of the team that went 2-4 in the nine-team tournament.
The boys attended tryout camps through May and June and trained during July to prepare for the tournament
