Two of the Battlefords auto dealers are back into a virtual tie for top stop in the Twin Rivers Curling Club Wednesday Night Business League. The North Battleford Hyundai team won their game Feb. 26, while the Scott Campbell Dodge team tied theirs to leave both teams with five wins. On paper, the Dodge team has a slight edge because they have one tie. Hyundai has one loss on their record.
The Scott Campbell Dodge team went into the week as the only undefeated team in the league.
NuTech Embroidery moved into third place with a victory Wednesday night, while Jay Dee AgTech and the Battlefords and District Co-op are now tied in fourth place with records of two wins and four losses.
The Twin Rivers Curling Club hosts the Business League, which provides Battlefords and area businesses the opportunity to sponsor a team made up of employees, customers or both who curl under the business's name. Many curlers have curled very little in the past, while others are regulars at the Northland Power Curling Centre.
The Business League curls every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. until the season ends in mid-March.
