Just two scores were reported from the Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League this week and both results show how well the Unity Midget Panthers are doing this season.
The Panthers beat the Maidstone Iron Maidens Monday in extra innings by a 14-11 score. The Panthers led the game 7-0 after the first inning, but the Iron Maidens fought back to tied.
Wednesday, the Panthers beat the Unity Bantam Panthers 14-6.
The Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League is already into the second half of the season, as just three weeks remain on the regular season schedule.
