The final weekend of the high school version of March Madness is upon us.
The North Battleford Comprehensive High School senior girls basketball team went into the championship ranked fourth and knew they were in tough against Moose Jaw Peacock.
The Vikings came Moose Jaw all they could handle, but it was the top ranked Peacock moving on to the championship game while the Vikings will play for bronze Saturday at 11 a.m. at Evan Hardy School.
Moose Jaw won 68-64. Shania Magnusson led the Vikings with 24 points while Shallen McNabb had 14.
The Vikings will face the loser of Notre Dame and Meadow Lake, who were playing off Friday starting at 12:45 p.m.
