Vipers still perfect

After three games at the Western Canadian Junior B Women's Softball Championships in Winnipeg, the Northwest Vipers are 3-0. After winning their first one 8-5 Thursday, they went on to win 9-4 over the Hamiota Hurricanes of Manitoba.

Janaya Barker was the winning pitcher for the Vipers.

Friday morning, Candace McClughan was the winning pitchers as the Vipers won 12-0 over the Murillo Mudhens. The Vipers gave up just 2 hits while belting out 13 in five innings.

The Vipers were preparing for their fourth round robin game Friday afternoon and had two more round robin matchups Saturday before the playoffs begin.
