Heading into the final weekend of Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League action many questions remain as to which team will finish where and who will play who.
The Battlefords North Stars know where they will end up, fourth in the Bauer Conference, but aren't sure if it will be La Ronge or Melfort they will face in the survivor series.
Those teams were tied in points and both had two games remaining on their regular season schedules.
Leading the Source Embroidery Power Rankings this week are the Humboldt Broncos once again. Also remaining unchanged were Yorkton in second followed by Melville, Nipawin and Flin Flon. Humboldt, Yorkton and Melville also all made the Canadian Junior Hockey League's top 20 list. Humboldt moved up to the fifth spot, Yorkton is sixth and Melville is 14th. Nipawin also received an honourable mention this week. Remaining the top ranked team in the country is the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League
The North Stars moved up one spot into sixth place in the league rankings.
Also earning some praise in the who's hot list are North Stars Tanner Quinn and Connor Creech. Creech is 1-2-2 in his last five starts, but has posted a .935 save percentage and a shutout. Since returning from injury in January, Quinn has five goals and two assists in seven games.
SJHL Players of the Week
The player of the week nod goes to Nipawin's Tad Kozun. He had three goals and three assists in three games, as the Hawks are one of the hottest teams in the league and are in the hunt for one of the top spots in the Bauer Conference.
The goaltender of the week was Devin Buffalo of the Flin Flon Bombers. Buffalo won both his starts last week and stopped 67 of 70 shots. He now has 22 wins, as 2.47 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage.
The Sherwood Conference produced the defenceman of the week this time around, as Brady Norrish of the Yorkton Terriers earned the honour. Norrish had a goal and four assists in three games. He has seven goals and 24 assists in 50 games this season.
The rookie of the week was Dion Antisin of the Notre Dame Hounds. The rookie forward ended the week with two goals and four assists in four games and has 16 goals in total and 20 assists in 51 games.
