The Wilkie Outlaws have won seven straight games to start the NSRHL season.
Their latest victory came in overtime Friday night on the road in St. Walburg against the Eagles. The Outlaws beat the Eagles 6-5.
The Edam 3 Stars beat the Meadow Lake Stampeders 4-2 Firday night.
The 3 Stars also won Sautrday night, beating the Turtleford Tigers 9-2.
The Eagles followed up their loss to Wilkie with an 8-4 win over the Maidstone Jets.
In the standings, the Outlaws (7-0) hang on to top spot in the NSRHL with 14 points. St. Walburg (6-1-1) is close behind in second with 13 points. Edam (4-3) and Meadow Lake (4-5) are tied for third with eight points. Maidstone (1-7) and Turtleford (1-6) are in last place with two points each.
This weekend, the Tigers are in St. Walburg to take on the Eagles and Wilkie looks to stay undefeated when they play in Edam. Both games are at 8:30 p.m. Friday night.
Turtleford and St. Walburg finish off their home-and-home series Saturday night in Turtleford for a 7:30 p.m. start. Wilkie welcomes Meadow Lake into town Saturday as well. Puck drop is 8:30 p.m.
