The wind blew Monday, but that didn't stop 44 New Horizons from going out to golf at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club.
The Scotts, Bernice and Wally, were winners once again with the help of Nester Brunwald and Bruce Dalshaug.They finished at even par, three shots ahead of the next two teams.
In second place and on a count-back was the team of Merv Zulynik, Ken Holiday, Norm Soiseth and Don Dill.They beat out Dorothy and John Cubbon along with Art Strueby and Sid Waters.
The consolation winners were Irwin Temple, Faye Erickson and the McNabbs.
Wally Scott also gets his car washed at the Co-op for sinking a 42-foot putt on number nine. Faye Carson was only a few feet from the pin on eight to win that prize the other prize.
The New Horizons will not be playing next Monday because of the holiday, but will be back in action May 24 with a starting time of 8:30 a.m.
