I have been working in North Battleford, as a speech and language pathologist, since 1984. My husband, Ken, and I raised our children, Karen and Mark here and are grateful for all the opportunities this community has provided.
My family has been actively involved in North Battleford since the arrival of my great grandparents, Charles and Jessie May, in 1903. I was taught that we each have a responsibility to 'give back'. I have served on a variety of local boards, including; Battlefords Allied Arts Council, Battlefords Big Sisters, Third Avenue United Church Board, Bready Home and School and Battlefords Kiwanis Music Festival.
I chose to run for council because I care deeply about this community and its citizens. I am committed to working hard to make this a safe and dynamic city, rich with commercial, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all.
