I am in my third term on North Battleford City Council. I was born, raised and educated in the Battlefords and returned after university to raise a family with my wife. I am an elementary school principal.
I was a member of the original organization that started the ball rolling on the CUPlex. Being a councillor gives me the opportunity to be involved in the creation of a community where people can afford to live. Our community is in a positive position overall. Solid governance and a watchful eye on the future is more important than ever and I believe my experience and skills would benefit our citizens if re-elected.
The key election issues are fiscally responsible budgeting and planning for infrastructure; review and planning for all facilities based on the community's needs; community dialogue into the direction of all areas of the city including downtown and what we envision for the future.
