I have 21 years experience in the financial services industry and own and manage Hein Financial Group. I have also worked in the construction industry and in agriculture, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the needs of the Battlefords region.
I was a founding member of the Battlefords Regional Economic Development Authority and was Chairperson for over ten years. I worked with all levels of Government, many First Nations Groups and local businesses.
I am running for City Council to ensure North Battleford continues to be a thriving and attractive community and to attract residents and businesses to increase the tax base. North Battleford is faced with challenging costs for present and future infrastructure and needs strong, motivating leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility and consistent long-term growth. My business, economic development and financial services experience, energizing leadership skills and personal integrity make me a model candidate for councillor.
