My motivation to serve on the City of North Battleford Council is based on my firm belief that the best use of my abilities is to give back to the community that has given so much to me. Our city is at a turning point caused by recent economic circumstances and major investments in recreation and other infrastructure. This has created a window of opportunity for North Battleford to see tremendous economic growth, and I believe our next Council must have the business knowledge and courage to make these opportunities a reality.
If elected, I will fight to ensure that property tax increases remain lower than increases in the inflation rate, a concrete plan is put into action to transform our downtown into a source of pride and economic activity, and that your City Council is more open and accountable to you. I will always put the taxpayer first.
