I was born and raised in Battleford and have three grown children and a grandson. Active member of the community, currently on the Battleford Parks and Rec board and a volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Previous board member for the Battlefords North Stars and BMHA. I have a business Administration Certificate from the U of S with additional training in budgeting, negotiating, bargaining and project management. I work in sales for an industry-leading communications provider and sit on various workplace committees. My reasons for running for council are to focus on keeping Battleford an affordable place to live while continuing to be progressive. Ensure infrastructure keeps up with growth and be fiscally responsible. Preserving the history of Battleford, keep youth and seniors active and involved in the community, develop long and short term plans for the town, and attract new businesses - build on the unique shops/restaurants Battleford already has to offer.
