We need to make our community be and "feel" safe by addressing the social, health and criminal issues making this an undesirable city. My background as an anti-poverty advocate, in social services and Justice gives a strong position to address issues like homelessness, slum landlords, bad neighbours and downtown issues need action. I have knowledge and experience in financial administration to deal with our large city debt and the operating costs of the Cuplex.
I can give commitment, dedication and passion for my community. I am connected to grassroots up to inter-agency and intergovernmental spectrums. I have leadership experience in construction, working for the government and in community. I have empathy and will be a voice for people.
I feel confident I will do well as a councillor and would be honoured to serve my community in a position where I can make a difference.
