I am general manager of Super 8. My reason for running for council is to be the peoples' voice to have better accountability and fairness at City Hall.
Downtown issues include a city owned burnt out building, connected to a building in need of major repairs. All other buildings in this state get bulldozed over.
Bad law making has victims pay fines because someone damaged their property.
Recycling is an issue. Not everyone owns a truck to transport. We are told to recycle yet we can't get a single item from the recycling centre.
Hold the line on taxes.
The City is giving away land, but won't let Battlefords Agricultural Society have a long term plan or give them land.
The roads need work.
