DUCHARME: Alfred Gordon (Freddie) Ducharme May 18, 1949 - February 12, 2012. Freddie the youngest son of Moses and Edith (Forrest) Ducharme, died in Vidor Texas on February 12, 2012. He was born at home near Glaslyn Sk. Granny Ducharme was midwife. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife Debbie (Gentry), sons Howard, Carson and Gordon Ducharme, six grand children, Chaze, Ti, Carsons sons, Lillith and Zakary, Gordons daughter and son, and Phalyn and Phoenix, Howards daughter and son. Also his brothers Bud (Clarence) Marge Ducharme, of Meadow Lake Sk and Bill (Sonny) Shirley, Ducharme of Edmonton Ab. Sisters Elaine (Fred) Rensby, Battleford SK, Jean Lavallee, Cudworth Sk. Nettie (Annette Marie)(Victor) Abtosway Saskatoon SK, Vivian Ducharme Saskatoon, SK, Linda Evelyn (Lawrence) Skarrqa, Grimshaw AB, and Marilyn Wanda Collen Ducharme, Battleford SK, and special niece, Wanda Ann (Wendy) Ducharme, Edmonton AB, and many aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Moses 1981 and Edith, 1988 sister Irene Ducharme in 1996, brother Albert in 1937 and an infant sister in 1947 a twin to Linda, and a brother in-law, Angus Lavalle. He was a gifted musician and had a band for several years and played in Western Canada, then went to the States. He met Debbie Gentry and they were married in Vidor Texas and made their home in Vidor. He was a member of the Ozark Stweel Guitar Association. The funeral was held in the Pentacostel church and he is buried in the Williamson Cemetery in Vidor Texas. There will be a memorial held at a later date for relatives and friends, a time and place will be announced. He will be greatly missed. ____________________________________________________
