GAGNE: In Loving Memory of William Joseph Gagné who was born July 11, 1941 at North Battleford, SK and passed away May 2, 2011 at North Battleford, SK. William is survived by his loving wife, Gwendolyn Mann; by his sister, Lillian Leduc; brothers: Henry Gagné and Clem Gagné and many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents: William and Yvonne Marie Gagné; sisters: Mathilda Farden, Alice Ewert and Yvonne Gristwood; brothers: Noel, George, Peter and Robert and two siblings in infancy, Jules and Hilda. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Notre Dame De Lourdes Roman Catholic Church North Battleford, SK with Rev. Fr. Gerard Legaspi, Celebrant. The Honourary Pallbearers were John Mann, Don Tatchell, Gary Mann, Jack Tatchell, Herb Katzer and Bob Hunt. Memorials are requested to Canadian Cancer Society. Interment took place at Catholic Extension of The City Cemetery, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. 446-4200 Card of Thanks In my time of loss for my husband William Gagné, I would like to express my thanks to family, friends and relatives for coming. A Special Thank-you to the nurses in Palliative Care for taking care of William. Thanks to Dr. Lipsett and staff for their kindness. Thank-you to all of the Honourary Pallbearers, also thanks to all who sent cards and flowers. Special thanks to The Bargain Shop staff, the boys at Hardy Plant, the staff at Rosthern Auto Parts, Sheila and Erin and Fran Frey; the flowers were very comforting. Also a Special thank-you to Fr. Gerard Legaspi for the lovely service; and to the ladies of C.W.L. for the lunch served on William's behalf. I hope everyone enjoyed it. I am sorry I could not attend.
