KIZIAK - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Kiziak, late of North Battleford, SK on January 6, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Peter was born on May 21, 1929 at Vermillion, AB. Peter is survived by his son Russell (Christine) Kiziak and their children: Bobbie-Jo (Bryon) McCarthy - Mitchell and Alyssa, and Jeremy (Cheryl) Kiziak - Katherine, Harmony, and Pheonix; Patricia's children: Travis (Rhonda) Pawliuk - Hunter and Kallie, and Terra (Todd) McGiffin - Nick. He is predeceased by his wife Sylvia; first wife Rose; and daughter Patricia. Prayers were held on Friday, January 27, 2012 from Chapel of Sallows & McDonald - Wilson & Zehner, North Battleford, SK with Reverend Father Vladimir Simunovic presiding. The Divine Liturgy was held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. Olga, Vermillion, AB with Reverend Father Bo (Bohdan) Nahachewsky as celebrant. The family have requested that donations in Peter's memory be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment took place at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon on Monday, January 30, 2012.
