LANGFORD: Pat (Alice Maude) was born on the family farm near Tugaske, Sask. October 12, 1911. She passed away peacefully on September 25, 2011, just 17 days short of turning 100, at her home in Glenwarren Lodge, Victoria, B.C.

LANGFORD: Pat (Alice Maude) was born on the family farm near Tugaske, Sask. October 12, 1911. She passed away peacefully on September 25, 2011, just 17 days short of turning 100, at her home in Glenwarren Lodge, Victoria, B.C. She will be missed so much by all of us. She was such a sweet-spirited lady with a lovely smile and had a kind word for everyone. Pat was so proud of her families. She loved spending her summers at Day's Beach. Pat attended school on Moose Jaw and the University of Saskatchewan before moving to North Battleford where she was employed at the Saskatchewan Hospital and the Public Health Region. In 1940 she married Gordon Glanvelle and they raised three children. In 1964 Gordon passed away. pat remained in North Battleford and had a variety of interests including playing bridge, travelling and volunteering in the community. In 1978 she married Fred Langford and moved to Victoria B.C. Pat was predeceased by her husbands Gordon Glanville and Fred Langford, brothers Walter and Charlie Seaman. She is survived by her sister Mae Dilley, Thunder Bay, ONt. Daughter Joanne (Frank) Meagher, Whitby, Ont. Son Bob (Anne) Glanville, Victoria B.C. Son Jim (Dana) Glanville, North Battlford, SK., Seven grand-children Gordie, Susan and Kevin Meagher, Whitby, Ont., Chris (Chelsey) Glanville, New minister, B.C., Melynn (Aaron) Bru, North Battleford, SK., Shea (Marty) Boggust, Paynton, SK., Jimmi Lou (Doug) Irvine, LaCorey, AB. Nine great-grandchildren: Ezrah and Wren Glanville; Logan and Alivia Bru; Cash and Levi Boggust; Dacia, Britton and Maddi Jo Irvine and several nieces and nephews. Pat is alsi survived by Don and Diane Langford and Ken and Judy Langford and families. A private memorial service will be held at the North Battleford Cemetery on October 12, 2011 which would have been her 100th Birthday. Following this the families would like to invite friends to the St. Paul's Anglican Church Hall from 2:00-4:30 p.m. to honour Pat. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. ____________________________________________________
