LEBLANC : It is with heavy hearts that the family of Zachary LeBlanc announce his sudden passing on April 29, 2012, in Hudson Bay, SK, at the age of 19 years. Zachary Edward LeBlanc, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, was born on April 13, 1993 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. At the age of five, Zach moved to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. Zach attended the Stewart Hawke Elementary School, and graduated from the Hudson Bay Composite High School in June of 2011. Zach began his working career while still in High School, working part-time at the Co-op in Hudson Bay. After completing his grade 12, he began employment with Rohan Drilling Services of Lloydminster, Alberta, where he was a Coil Tube Operator. During every set of days off, Zach would return to Hudson Bay to be with his friends and family. Zach enjoyed all that life had to offer, and participated in many activities. He was a former member of the Hudson Bay Minor Hockey Association, was in 4-H (mechanics), a member of the Hudson Bay SADD, and participated in the Meals on Wheels program as a student. Zach also enjoyed many quadding trips, and he enjoyed every opportunity to go downhill skiing. Music was a big part of Zach's life, and he loved to keep his collection of music up to date with the most recent artists. Family played a very important role for Zach, and he would always make time for his brothers and sister. Like most teenagers, Zach loved to hang out with his friends at the skate board park, play video games and watching movies. Zach was predeceased by his great-grandmother Edith Morgan. He is lovingly remembered by his mom Darcy Loewen (Kent Salmond), his dad Shane LeBlanc (Teresa Aube), siblings: Jackson LeBlanc, Cleve Salmond, Kally Salmond, and Jordon Maier, step-siblings: Cal Aube, and Pam Aube, grandparents: Ed & Eleanor Loewen, Yves & Bernice LeBlanc, and Larry & Marge Salmond, great-grandma Betty Salmond, aunts & uncles: Shelly (Ward), Dan (Lavaunne), Darlene (David), Tyler, Bertina (Jason), Roxanne (Brett), Kurtis, Brent (Donna), and Cherise (Kelly), and the entire Boyes Family, and numerous, cousins, relatives, and many friends. The memorial service was held on May 3, 2012, in the Brooks Hall, Hudson Bay, SK, with Pastor Fred Buhler officiating. Urn bearers were, Cavrin Karchut, David Wilson, Joel Foster, and Shane Gold. Honorary bearers were mentioned as - All Those Who Have Shared In Zach's Life. Ushering in the hall were, James Walters, Dustin Skilliter, Dawson Cameron, and Jordan Lewellin. The memorial guest register was attended by, Jeremy Liau, Kirsten Hansen, Joel Dyck, and Brady Myhr. A tribute in Zach's memory was given by Ward Grauman and Tai Grauman, accompanied by two musical tributes, one composed by Kalsey Kulyk, and another composed by JayCee Dallyn and Morgan Olson. Following the service, the ladies of the Pineridge Fellowship Chapel served lunch in the hall. Memorial donations in memory of Zach may be directed to a Charity of Personal Choice.
