LESSARD, Mary Ruby Lessard April 7, 1933 - October 31, 2011. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Ruby Lessard on October 31, 2011 in the Battlefords Union Hospital. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 40 years, Lloyd Lessard; sons: Neil Lessard ( Shari) and their children, Kyle and Kelsie-lyn; Andrew Lessard. Both sons reside in Meota, SK. brothers: Art Neufeld (Betty) Regina, SK; Joe Neufeld (Robyn) Australia; Lloyd Neufeld, BC; Glenn Neufeld (Linda) Saskatoon, SK; sister Alvina Neufeld of Warman, SK, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Neufeld; brothers: Ruben, Gordon, Allan Neufeld; sisters: Mildred Neufeld and Lila Muc. Mary said to me one time "Don't fuss over me." Well I am going to fuss over you just a little bit. Mary took pride in her passion for cross-stitching, embroidering as well as her quilting, her children will be kept warm with each having a denim quilt made by her. Mary enjoyed her time at the Do- Drop -In playing scrabble, visiting with friends and listening to the old time tunes. The last piece that she had crossed-stitched will be placed in the BUH Festival of Trees this year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the medical staff in the ICU and 3rd floor for looking after Mary in her brief stay.
