SOLOSKI: Mary Soloski (nee: Holowath) formerly of North Battleford, passed away in Red Deer, Alberta, on Monday, May 30, 2011, at the age of 79 years. Services were held Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Mary and Rudy Soloski moved to North Battleford in 1955, where Rudy was the owner/operator of The Roxy Studio photography business, and mom was a caring homemaker, raising five children. In 1974, mom started work at the Battleford's Union Hospital, in the admitting office, and later as a ward clerk on the maternity floor, until her retirement in 1994. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Red Deer to enjoy her retirement. Mary was predeceased by Rudy Soloski in 1983, her beloved mother Pauline Melynchyn in 2000, her father Harry Holowath and step father Phillip Melynchyn. Mary is survived by daughter, Janet Soloski and son Allan Soloski, both of Red Deer, Alberta; three other children: Michael, Patricia and Brian; two grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother, Fred Holowath.
