THOMPSON: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" William Thompson, late of North Battleford, Saskatchewan on May 2, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Bob was born on December 27, 1929 at Kindersley, Saskatchewan. Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara; sons, Richard (Mervianna), Michael (Debra), David (Donna), and Carlos (Donna); grandchildren Ryan (Tammy), Robert and Linda (Matt); great grandchild Brody; foster children, Jarred Thomas, Gaelyn Thomas, Stephen Thomas, Judy Thompson; sister, Irene Hilts; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Violet; brothers, Arthur and David; and sisters Evelyn and Audrey. The Celebration of Bob's Life was held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from the Chapel of Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford, Saskatchewan with Raymond Toews officiating The family have requested that memorial donations be made to the Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation . A private family interment took place at the City of North Battleford Cemetery.
