I have received word and it is with great sadness that I am sending you this email to let you know Julian J. Sadlowski, our former mayor, our community's historian and one of my many best friends passed away Friday.
It was just one week ago Julian and I were talking about the history of North Battlefords book he had just finished and turned over to Ken Holiday to proof and complete. As I promised him, we will get it published for the 2013 anniversary of the City of North Battleford.
Julian was one of a kind and always took time to listen and help.He was an ambassador for the Battlefords whereever he went.He will be truly missed and my prayers are going out to his entire family.
