Appointments an affront to voters

Dear Editor To me democracy has always meant "government of the people and for the people." Since Mr. Harper has been prime minister, this has not held true. He promised everything would be different if he was elected with a majority government.

Dear Editor

To me democracy has always meant "government of the people and for the people."

Since Mr. Harper has been prime minister, this has not held true. He promised everything would be different if he was elected with a majority government. Unfortunately his latest appointments to the senate prove he is as untrustworthy as ever.

To my disgust, he has appointed three people to the senate who were rejected by their constituents in the latest federal election. He has affronted all the voters in Canada.
