Everyone needs motivation and inspiration to succeed. Not only in exercise, but also in everyday life. Keeping inspiration in daily life can help you stay focused on your fitness goals. Here are some great ways to find inspiration in your life.

Try new things. Often, monotony causes us to forget there are other things out there. Inspiration can be found in change or the possibility of change. Search out people or places that inspire you.

Eliminate fears. Common sense causes us to fear certain things in life, but imagine the empowerment you have when you stop fearing. Stop fearing death but rather live life to the absolute fullest so you have no regrets. Stop fearing failure because with no risk there is no reward. If you fail, nothing says you can't just pick up and try again.

Seek out help. We can't always go it alone, and why would we want to? Others have probably been through the same things as you. Look to them for inspiration.

Stop and smell the roses. This is both figurative and literal. Use nature as inspiration. Notice the things around you. Take nothing for granted. Life is the greatest gift you will ever be given. Live it! Find inspiration from all things and people that surround you.

Please find some famous quotes which speak to you. Here are some that have inspired me. I hope they do the same for you.

"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage and tangled Christmas tree lights" - Maya Angelou

"People with integrity do what they say they are going to do. Others have excuses." - Laura Schlessinger

"Yesterday's home runs don't win today's games." - Babe Ruth

"Fear of failure is one attitude that will keep you at the same point in your life." - Byron Pulsifer

"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not." - Anon

And one of my favourites, "I've learned that I still have a lot to learn." - Maya Angelou

And here are my favourites from Wayne Gretsky: "You miss 100 per cent of the shots you don't take;" and "I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been."

Find the inspiration in your life, whether it is a quote, a person or a place. Use it to move yourself to a better, healthier life starting today.
