The Saskatchewan Green Party sincerely thanks Premier Brad Wall for making Real Change happen by reversing the government’s decision to mix alcohol and strip clubs in Saskatchewan. The Premier has obviously been listening to people about the strip clubs and he has now made the right decision. Strip clubs exploit women and have the potential to attract other unwelcome activity into communities where they operate. We are sincerely thankful that the Premier has gotten enough public feedback on this issue that he has reversed the decision to allow strip clubs with alcohol to operate here. We hope that in the future, Premier Wall will engage in more Real Change by consulting the public more often through participatory democracy before making decisions that are important to Saskatchewan people.
