The beauty of Taylor foreshadows the elegant songs to follow.

Three times a lady Taylor Swift is, as she enjoys even more success with album number three, Speak Now. Compared to Taylor Swift and Fearless, Speak Now involves some meaning incorporated into the stories and love and heartbreak.

As written in the CD booklet, Taylor explains how each song is about a event in her life, leaving the listener to only imagine which song means what. For example, Mean, is possibly about Kanye West and his antics at a previous music awards show, or Never Grow Up, which could be about how much she enjoyed being a kid (Swift is only 20 years old) and how life was so carefree compared to the hectic life of being a country/pop superstar.

Other songs, however, are difficult to figure out, such as the title track, Speak Now. Could it be about a dream she may have had about a former boyfriend getting married? Or perhaps about a friend and her joking about it? We may never know, however, she does a wonderful job of turning such a tragic event into an almost funny timeframe.

Mine, the album's first single and easily the most popular at this stage, is, in my humble opinion, the most important song she wrote. Assuming the love theme is followed in most of the other songs, this song can explain how some are always running away from love, and wishing they had someone to call their own.

Haunted is easily the most meaningful song on this album. The song explains how haunting the idea of losing the one you love is, and how you may need to deal with it. This song is also the most produced out of the entire album, and thus, reflects how important the feeling of losing love really is. By expressing this feeling, she may be exorcising some demons being caged up inside of her. She is only 20, and most likely scarred from love just like the average girl.

The beautiful lyrics, all written by Taylor, really shows the emotions felt by her as a teenager and young woman, and making all realize that being a music superstar isn't all sunshine and rainbows. The whole album reflects the words of a minister right before he pronounces a bride and groom husband and wife, ?Speak now, or forever hold your peace.? We all fear saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, and it becomes vital to say the right thing and the right time. These words can save a relationship, or when said too soon, can end it. We need to learn to say what we mean, and mean what we say, and thus, figure out things we need to know, and possibly even learning things we never knew existed.
