Further to the BTEC donation request made to the City of North Battleford, this should be carefully considered, as many individuals and businesses have already contributed to the new proposed BTEC building fund.
These people pay property taxes to the City and some would question contributing a second time through a tax system.
The BTEC fundraising committee needs to focus on more individual and business donations with a challenge to find the $100,000 from the private side.
