Dear Editor
For several years, the drivers using Delorme Drive in Cochin have put up with displaced pavement, deep potholes, an uneven road and risks of injury and vehicle damage due to the horror story of a road.
Due to the fast actions of the new mayor and council, this situation is being addressed. The deteriorated pavement has been removed, and the road re-shaped. There is also gravel and dust control and potholes filled with hot mix.
This construction will make Delorme Drive much safer for the users – farmers, residents, commuters, tourists, etc. In addition, we will no longer watch the roof of the school bus go by our house and fear a rollover involving children.
