Just a quick note to say thank you to Sherri Solomko for her editorial entitled "Hug a nurse.” It was very well written and has warmed the hearts of many nurses who are out there on the front lines of health care, trying to do their best in what is often a very demanding environment.
Often, patients take the time to express their gratitude and for someone to acknowledge our efforts in a public forum is very much appreciated.
