North Battleford city council received a request from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 70 here in North Battleford asking that the City waive the fees regarding costs related to a parade route needed for the provincial convention.
City policy is that costs for parades are to be recouped from the organization making the request. I appreciate the City's effort to recoup costs when possible. In this case waiving the fees is something most citizens would support.
