“Nothing divides and unites people like music,” I told Ed my old neighbour from Saskatchewan. Summer always finds various music festivals in Saskatchewan. They make it easy for people to take in the music they want to hear.

I woke up this morning, and unlike Tony Soprano, I did not get myself a gun. But I did get an email that indicated there was yet another merger in the works. Merger, acquisition, buyout, hostile takeover – same difference.

I told Ed I was researching the relationship between fear and love. I have the challenge to teach about fearing and loving God. We used to say fear and love are meant to go together in our relationship with God.
